I See Skys of Blue

It was a great day at school today. We celebrated the 30th Annual Earth Day with a big celebration. If you don't know, Earth Day was founded in 1970 and falls on April 22nd each year in America. I what you would call a "light green" environmentalist as I volunteered and made a renewed pledge to live more gently. To support our pledge, the bigger kids planted a tree on the school's property and the litter kids, me, planted a garden. Like all boys, I love to play in the dirt and this gave me the perfect opportunity to get my little hands dirty and full of dirt. I had it everywhere, ears, eyes, nose and of course under my fingernails. We even had to scrub my fingernails to get the dirt out! It was a great time, evidenced by the pictures.
